Cetus is a nostalgic and beautiful kitchen hood with great possibilities for developing your own design. Cetus comes with RørosHetta Sense technology integrated.
Description
Cetus Sense island is available in 80 or 100 cm widths. Both the hood’s “base” and the edge strips can be supplied in all our PVD metals in a brushed or high-gloss finish, or lacquered in a colour of your choice, just as you wish.
The hood can be supplied for put-out and recirculation, has a raised base plate to ensure optimal extraction.

With our new technology, RørosHetta Sense, you don’t have to sacrifice your kitchen ventilation for a second. The only thing you need to think about is cooking – the technology in the kitchen hood takes care of the rest. The sensors ensure automatic start/stop of the fan, and automatically regulate the speed if this is possible with your ventilation solution. The Sense technology is hidden in the product, so that the hood’s design and color can be adapted to your kitchen – just the way you want.
If you want complete monitoring of your indoor climate, you should choose Sense Pro Indoor Climate Monitoring.
The sensors will then also measure particle levels, temperature, humidity levels and with this improve the air quality in your home. With Sense Pro, the kitchen hood will therefore also be able to start automatically when you are preparing food in the oven, or to reduce other sources of pollution.

RørosHetta Sense and Sense Pro adapt your indoor climate to optimal standards, based on the World Health Organization’s recommendations.
Download the RørosHetta app to monitor air quality and control cooking, such as cooking time and the correct cooking temperature. It is also possible to connect Sense Pro to a Cloud solution so that you can retrieve monthly statistics for the air quality in your kitchen.
The kitchen hood can be supplied with an integrated stove guard as an option (art. no. 9304).

Most people place the cooking zone against a wall in the kitchen. This often simplifies the ducting from the kitchen exhaust fan to the open air, either straight through the wall behind or straight through the ceiling. Now the kitchen exhaust fan is also often connected to external motors or units that are placed away from the kitchen. Installing straight wall hoods is very easy. The distance between the hood and the hob should be from 50–70 cm. For a gas stove, a minimum of 65 cm.
The kitchen hood has a raised base plate for optimal odour capture.
The grease filters have a cleaning indicator in the control panel, and in the RørosHetta app. The grease filters can be cleaned in the dishwasher at a maximum of 50 degrees.
Special designs on the decorative strips are made free of charge, specify the desired design when ordering.
Cetus island kitchen hood can be customized:
- Special duct up to 1 m height (art. no. 9243)
- Special duct up to 1.8 m height (art. no. 9244)
- Custom angled duct (art. no. 9246)
These options constitute an additional cost and require that we receive accurate measurements and a description of the varnish/stain for correct adaptation to your home. We therefore ask you to contact customer service for assistance in placing this order.
A thousand colors – Yes, it’s actually true. Sky blue, princess pink, emerald green, Ferrari red, white as snow or black as coal! You can pick and choose from trend colors or choose the same color as the kitchen fronts so that the hood becomes part of the whole. The best thing is that a special color costs you nothing*!
