Over half of our kitchen hoods are produced by hand at the factory in Røros.
We are constantly taking steps to ensure that our kitchen hoods meet the industry’s requirements for environmental and energy labelling and have gone through careful processes and measures for the necessary certifications.
We are concerned about the environment and our self-produced Sense kitchen hoods can save from 35–85% of your electricity consumption. Sense kitchen hoods come with a brushless motor and LED lights. The new motors provide much higher power for the exhaust, while also having perhaps the quietest exhaust on the market. This way you can use your kitchen hood with a clear conscience, for many years.

Our story began in 1946, as the tinsmith shop Røros Metall. The innovative mindset has been at the heart of the family business from day one, and production has been diverse. In 1981, we launched our first copper kitchen hood under the RørosHetta brand, and since then, development, creativity, quality and craftsmanship have been the core values of the company.
