Stove Guard Sense (9304)
Stove Guard Sense (9304)
This is a stove guard that is integrated into the kitchen hood and can be purchased as an accessory for RørosHetta Sense.
The stove guard monitors the temperature above the cooktop, and ensures that no fire-hazardous situations arise. Should the temperature rise rapidly in a short time or become so high that a fire-hazardous situation arises, the stove guard generates alarm signals. If no residents react and do anything, the power to the cooktop is cut off.

With our new technology, RørosHetta Sense, you don’t have to sacrifice your kitchen ventilation for a second. The only thing you need to think about is cooking – the technology in the kitchen hood takes care of the rest. The sensors ensure automatic start/stop of the fan, and automatically regulate the speed if this is possible with your ventilation solution. The Sense technology is hidden in the product, so that the hood’s design and color can be adapted to your kitchen – just the way you want.
If you want complete monitoring of your indoor climate, you should choose Sense Pro Indoor Climate Monitoring.
The sensors will then also measure particle levels, temperature, humidity levels and with this improve the air quality in your home. With Sense Pro, the kitchen hood will therefore also be able to start automatically when you are preparing food in the oven, or to reduce other sources of pollution.
Kitchen hoods with RørosHetta Sense are among the quietest hoods on the market and ensure a safe and good indoor climate.
RørosHetta Sense and Sense Pro adapt your indoor climate to optimal standards, based on the World Health Organization’s recommendations.
Download the RørosHetta app to monitor air quality and control cooking, such as cooking time and the correct cooking temperature. It is also possible to connect Sense Pro to a Cloud solution so that you can retrieve monthly statistics for the air quality in your kitchen.

The stove guard monitors the temperature above the cooktop, and ensures that no fire-hazardous situations arise. Should the temperature rise rapidly in a short time or become so high that a fire-hazardous situation arises, the stove guard generates alarm signals. If no residents react and take action, the power to the cooktop is cut off.
If the stove guard is installed as a result of the standard requirements in NEK 400:2014, the switch unit must be permanently installed. This work must be carried out by an authorised electrician.
All our stove guards are connected wirelessly to a PCU switch unit that automatically switches off the power supply to the hob in the event of overheating. The sensor unit for the stove guard is connected to the power supply.
The advantage of this is that you avoid batteries that need to be replaced regularly and thus ensure that the stove guard always works. When purchasing a stove guard, connection option 1 (Switch unit PCU 6.1 for 230V, 25A 1-phase) is supplied as standard. If you need other connection options, you can order this at no extra cost. Please state this when ordering.
We also have:
- Connection option 2: Switch unit PCU 6.3-F for 400V, 16A 3-phase
- Connection option 3: Switch unit PCU 6.1-F for 230V, 35A 1-phase.
The switch unit is mounted behind the stove.
