RørosHetta’s kitchen hoods come in many different shapes and colors, and you are free to choose what suits you and your kitchen solution best. With us you can play with over 20 different custom-made kitchen hoods, all delivered with Sense technology integrated.
We offer, among other things, color lacquering, a selection of high-gloss and brushed metal, optional stain and 4 mm Dekton panels in several of our hoods. Only your imagination sets the limits when you’re designing your personal hood.

A wide range of our Sense kitchen hoods can be customized in both height and width. With efficient and precise laser cutters, we have the ability to customize your kitchen hood down to the millimeter.
Did you know that the longest kitchen hood we have produced was over 2 meters long and was delivered to a customer in England?
Questions & Answers
We offer brushed copper, brass, black steel and steel, as well as high-gloss copper, brass and black steel. Our high-gloss and brushed metal hoods are treated with an anti-fingerprint coating that keeps the hood clean and beautiful for longer.
All hoods with this symbol can be delivered in a selection of all our metals.

We offer lacquering in standard gloss level 35, or matt gloss level 10. The lacquer we use is supplied by the same supplier as Nordic kitchen retailers, so we can offer the same color on your kitchen hood as on your selected kitchen.
All kitchen hoods with this symbol have the option of color lacquering in a color of your choice.

In order for us to be able to paint the kitchen hood in the color you want, we need the NCS code sent with your order.
If you want the same color on the kitchen hood as the rest of the kitchen, your kitchen designer will be able to answer which code to provide when ordering the kitchen hood.
We can color match most elements, so if you want other colors, you can contact our customer service for assistance in finding the NCS code for the color you’d like.
Colors can vary to some extent depending on when they were produced, and colors can behave differently depending on the material they are painted on.
Wood tends to absorb more of the color, while on metal the color will sit “on top” of the material and can be experienced differently.
We consider this to be part of the charm of the material, and the same applies if you are painting a kitchen made of solid wood or MDF boards.
Direct and indirect natural light, or artificial light sources in the kitchen, can also make the color-experience different from a color sample in a store.
Unfortunately, digital color samples will not be able to reflect physical color samples, or metal samples 100% correctly.
Our custom-made kitchen hoods are mainly produced from steel sheets, which are bent and “bent” by hand at the factory in Røros.
The metal kitchen hoods are produced from PVD-coated steel sheets.
Selected hoods can be supplied with details made of MDF or oak, such as Groove Sense with oak slats or Frame Sense with MDF or oak panels, which can be varnished or stained in a varnish/stain of your choice.
Frame Sense can also be supplied with 4 mm Dekton panels. On this kitchen hood you can choose between Dekton panels supplied from Cosentino. We stock selected designs, the remaining panels are made to order.
Our traditional kitchen hoods, such as Tradition, Tradition Exclusive and Symfoni, are produced from one material and are only offered for color varnishing – either in oak or MDF.
We normally operate with a 4–6 week delivery time for all our self-produced kitchen hoods, so that we can deliver your kitchen hood at the same time as your new kitchen is delivered. This gives you the opportunity to have the kitchen hood installed at the same time as the kitchen.
If we have periods with longer delivery times due to higher demand, this will be informed when ordering. We have registered increased demand recently and have therefore taken several measures to keep our delivery time short, without compromising the quality of the kitchen hood; including hiring even more skilled employees at the factory in Røros.

A little low, or extra high below the ceiling?
No problem!
Our Sense hoods can be delivered with or without a duct in standard and custom lengths, so that it fits perfectly into your kitchen.
In the photo, Grue Lav is delivered with a duct in a special length, beveled to match the angle of the ceiling. Both the hood and the duct are delivered in a brushed brass finish.

With us you can select any size you’d like, whether it is a selection of standard dimensions as stated in the catalog, or whether you want to make the kitchen hood lower or higher to fit into your unique kitchen solution.
If you want a kitchen hood in special dimensions, there is a surcharge stated in the catalog, and if you are in doubt whether we can deliver to the dimensions you want, you can easily contact our customer service staff for guidance – we are happy to help you.
